Club tourneys

 

These are the requirements to register and time of play for sanctioned tournaments at certain clubs. The rules below apply to any tournament (except the Ontario Singles and Ontario Doubles), listed on the Tournaments page for the club in question.

K.W. Khaki Club

  • Register one week prior to each tourney by mail or personal contact.
  • Male, Female, Elder, Juniors Mixed format, everyone welcome.
  • Price is $10.00 per pitcher except for A class at $15 per pitcher.
  • Play Sat at 9:00am D doubles 55% combined first 16 pitchers.
  • Play Sat at 1:00pm C doubles 80% combined first 16 pitchers.
  • Play Sun at 9:00am B doubles 110% combined first 16 pitchers.
  • Play Sun at 1:00pm A singles, first 8 pitchers 45% & over, if group not filled then lower % can enter.
  • Make cheques payable to "K.W. Khaki Club Tournament Fund" and mail to K.W. Khaki Club, 2939 Nafzinger Road, Wellesley, Ontario N0B 2T0.
  • Please contact Bernie Baetz to register for tournaments or with any questions at (519) 885-3894 or at the club at (519) 656-2271.
  • The tournament committee consisting of Bernie Baetz, Wayne Becker, Tami Becker and Darlene Becker reserve the right to move players up or down one class.
  • There is also League nights Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
    Call the club to see if there is an opening.

    • Tuesday Night Handicap Draw Doubles $2.00 Open, Shoe Limit.
    • Thursday Night League Draw Doubles $2.00 Open, Shoe Limit.
  • Sanctioned tournament play
    • Singles - Register 9:45am / Pitch 10:00am / Shoe Limit.
    • Draw Doubles - Reg. 12:30pm / Pitch 1:00pm / $10 per pitcher
    • "A", "B", "C" Flights etc.
    • Mixed Format - All genders & ages welcome, Juniors, Seniors, Elders, Women, Men.

Hamilton Horseshoe Pitching Club

  • In addition to 6 indoor clay courts, we also have other activities such as darts, pool tournaments, dances, turkey rolls, lobster night, cribbage, games day and more.
  • We are located at 170 Brockley Drive, Hamilton. From the intersection of Hwy #20 (Centennial Parkway) and Barton St., go east on Barton to the 2nd stoplight (Brockley) and go left to #170 (on right side).
  • We offer singles, doubles and league nights for horseshoes.
  • Call our club at 905-561-4344 for a copy of our events schedule.
  • To register for sanctioned tournaments, you must call in your entry by 8:00 pm Thursday for that weekend's tournament.
  • Classes and times will be set Thursday night and late entries will only be accepted if a spot is available in the proper class AND at the discretion of the tournament committee.
