June 21, 2009 - The Ontario Provincial Doubles Championships results have been tabulated and can be viewed here.

May 27, 2009 - The Elmer Hohl Ringer Classic tournament results are in and can be viewed here.

May 26, 2009 - The Ontario Provincial Doubles Championships schedule of playing times is now ready and can be viewed here.

May 10, 2009 - The Elmer Hohl Ringer Classic schedule of playing times has been finalized and can be viewed here.

April 29, 2009 - Due to the late mailing of the Spring newsletter, we are extending the entry deadline for the Elmer Hohl Ringer Classic to May 7, 2009. Tournament Directors are Wayne and Darlene Becker.

April 12, 2009 - The Spring 2009 Horseshoe Ontario Newsletter has been completed and can be viewed here. For your convenience, all tournament entry forms from the newsletter can be individually printed:

  • Elmer Hohl on May 23-24 - Entry deadline May 7
  • London Doubles on June 6 - Deadline May 30
  • Doubles on June 13-14 - Entry deadline May 14
  • Canadians on July 8-11 - Entry deadline June 8

March 30, 2009 - The Tournaments page has been updated with plenty of tournaments for you to pitch in so that you can get your minimum 3 sanctioned tourneys under your belt to qualify for the Canadians this year.

March 8, 2009 - Horseshoe Ontario is proud to announce that the East Elgin Community Complex in Aylmer, Ontario is hosting the 2009 Canadian Championships from July 8-11th!

Please be reminded that you need to have played a minimum of 3 sanctioned tournaments within 12 months of the tournament date in order to pitch in the Canadians.

We will notify you when the official entry forms are ready.

February 22, 2009 - The Rankings page has been updated again with the latest stats and the number of sanctioned games played per pitcher has returned as promised.

December 28, 2008 - We are sad to announce that we lost a great woman from our horseshoe scene. Jean Markle passed away on December 26th. Visitations are being held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennel Ave. E., Hamilton, (905-387-2111) on Monday, December 29th from 7-9pm and Tuesday, December 30th from 10-11am with service to follow.

If you need to complete your 40 community service
hours to get your high school diploma, look no further.

Horseshoe Ontario always needs help with picking up and checking score sheets, painting stakes, handing out information, etc. We can sign off your hours volunteered with
us to help you graduate!
